RetroDesk is a playful tribute to the classic desktop computers of the early 2000s â built completely from scratch with its own original look, so it is just for fun. Double-click (or double-tap) any icon on the desktop, or use the Start menu, to open an app in its own window. You can drag windows around by their title bar, minimise them to the taskbar, or close them. Try doodling in Paint, sweeping for mines in Mini Mines, jotting notes in Notepad, or peeking at the pretend WebSurfer browser. For a classic prank, open the Start menu and hit "Trigger Error Screen" to flash a totally harmless fake blue error â then click to recover. Nothing here is real and nothing is saved; it is purely a nostalgic toy to click around and explore.
