Planet Merge is a physics-based merging puzzle inspired by the popular "drop-and-combine" genre. You have a container, and small planets fall from the top when you drop them. When two identical planets touch, they merge into the next planet in the chain. Start with asteroids, work your way through moons and small rocky planets — Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars — up to the gas giants Neptune, Uranus (with its rings), Saturn (with its iconic rings), Jupiter, and finally the blazing Sun. That is your ultimate goal: create the Sun. Simple to learn, deceptively hard to master. Every merge gives you points scaled to the size of the resulting planet. The catch: the container has a danger line near the top. If your planets stack up and any rest above that line for too long, the game ends. You must plan carefully, group similar planets together to encourage merges, and avoid a wasteful placement that traps a large planet in a corner. Use your mouse or finger to aim from left to right, and click or tap to drop. The next planet in your queue is shown at the top of the screen so you can plan ahead. Your personal best score is saved locally. All 11 planet stages are unique, painted in canvas with radial gradients, rings for Saturn and Uranus, and a glowing corona when you finally create the Sun. This game is family-friendly, contains no violence, and works on any device.
